His wife is 26 in 1911 and she was born in Cudworth, Yorkshire. They have two sons called Rodney and John William.
there is a marriage reg 1907 Barnsley Thomas Jones -and there is Agnes Sharpe on same page ????

How certain are you Betty that Agnes' surname was Sharpe??

Suz

I have the birth certificate for two of their children which gives her maiden name as Sharp.

It could be quite important as to whether Thomas was just an ordinary miner or not.I've got a possible family lined up!

I'm sure you will find him for yourself in 1901 listed as a stepson given as born in a nominal Flint Flintshire in c 1877.Though I have traced him back to Holywell in 1881 where he is with parents and paternal Grandfather,I can find Mother Mary now Roberts in 1891 with Thomas's brother William(1882) but Thomas is absent?
