Reed family Essex.

We have Edward H Reed b.c.1850 Roxwell Essex, married Sarah Maria Snell (b.1854 Grays) 1873 Grays Essex.
All goes well in 1881 they live in West Ham (occ. Coal heaver) with children Edw.H, b.1876 Grays, Emily E.R, b.1877 Grays, Maria E, b. 1879 Grays and Daniel b, 1880. The only birth reg for a Daniel I have found is Daniel John Dec.1880 W/Ham but in census he is Daniel G. A marriage record for Daniel Gardner Reed 1903 Canning Town,shows  father Edward Henry Reed.

1891 Edw. H and Sarah have added Edith A b. c.1882/3, John T b. 1886 and Rachel M 1890 all West Ham.

Now it gets tricky. I have traced Maria E. b. 1879 ( hubbies g.mother)  so that's ok, but in-----
 1901 her mother Sarah M is down in Grays living with William Gatward as Maria Gatward and in 1911 she is still with William Gatward who is u/m, but she is now Sarah Maria Reed again,marr housekeeper.
Daughter Maria married into the Gatward family 1907.

Back to 1901 Edward H Reed aged 51, Marr, b. Roxwell 1850 lives in West Ham with his two daughters Edith A and Rachel M, also there a Jane Graham, housekeeper and her children.
She is still with him in 1911 as his wife ( but no marriage found) and three young children with the name Reed but birth reg is Graham.

Obviously Edward snr and Sarah have separated but what has happened to children Edw. H 1876, Emily E.R 1877, Daniel 1880, and John T.

I have found Edw. H jnr marriage (I believe) 1895 West Ham to Lilian Kate Knell and Daniels as afore mentioned 1903 to Christiana Jane Tyson.
Apart from this I'm lost,
So please if anyone can shed any light on this family other than what I have stated I would appreciate any clues/information you can offer.

Thank you for that information, sadly I can't find them so far in 1911 to verify but will keep checking.

Ok! now found the marriage for William Ryder and Emily Ethel Reed 1904. Her father was James Reed, so no luck there, but thanks again.
