Of course,it's possible that Annie married twice?
Having been widowed or divorced from a first husband.

But a name like Annie Jones doesn't lend itself to easy searching?!

I prey that this is not the case but it does seem a likely possibility given the lack of a JONES=THORLEY marriage.  I guess I need to search for a JONES = ?? marriage followed by a ?? =THORLEY marriage.  Wish me luck.

 Maybe   the   marriage  was  in Scotland ?     or   maybe    abroad ?   I'm   going  by  that   possible birth of  1947  ,     not so long  after the  war ,
