Hi Tanemahuta,

THere are several Margaret A Robinson births registered in 1916.

I see from her death registration that your Margaret Audrey was born 5 May 1916, therefore we should be looking for a June quarter 1916 birth registration.

I can see this one:
Margaret A Robinson
mother's maiden surname Breffit
Jun 1916 Wharfedale 9a 242

and there's a matching marriage:
Jun 1913 Wharfedale 9a 273
Walter Robinson - Elizabeth A Breffit

Does the name Breffit ring a bell?

Searching for other children named Robinson with mother's maiden name Breffit, there are 4 boys, 2 who seem to be twins. Can anyone remember Margaret having twin brothers?

Doing a quick BMD search for Elizabeth Breffit, there's an Elizabeth Audrey Breffit birth registered in Sep 1889 Pontrefact ... would make sense!

Hi ... Margaret Robinson was my aunt ... my father, Edgar, was her brother and one of the twins (John and Edgar) .. my grandmother (Margaret's mother) died in childbirth and Margaret, Auntie Peggy, brought the twins up, there were two other brothers, both older, Edward and Phillip.
