Family of John Gordon/Mary Lowry, Londonderry.

My grandmother Mary Anne Gordon was married in Limavady Londonderry in 13/06/1898 to William Forrest Douglas and I am trying to find out anything about her father and mother and how many children the had. They were John Gordon and Mary Lowry, John was born at Aughansallagh Balteagh. Hoping someone can find something out about them.

In addition to James, Margaret, and Elizabeth shown on 'FamilySearch', using a combination of the RootsIreland website and GRONI website search indexes identifies the following civil birth records for parents John Gordon and Mary Lowry (all registered in Limavady):

- Susanna Gordon, born 3 March 1875
- Mary Anne Gordon, born 11 February 1877
- John Gordon, born 28 January 1882
- Hetty Jane Gordon, born 10 April 1885
- Samuel Gordon, born 9 April 1886

   I think that the townland where John Lowry was born should read AGHANSILLAGH which lies just to the east of Balteagh Presbyterian Church.

His father was James Gordon, hers was John Lowry.

Thank you to all people who added more information to my request, I have a photo of my father at a the grave of my grandmother Mary Anne Gordon in 1949 and the stone reads With deepest sympathy from her loving sister Hetty. So now I know the Gordon/ Lowry family, thanks again.
