Moses family of Blaenavon

I am trying to determine if my Daniel Moses (born 1803 in Wales) is the brother to a John Moses (born about the same time in Wales), both who immigrated to Carbondale PA around 1833.  (They both died young so records in the US are not there for additional information.)   I do know from the death record of John Moses' daughter, Sarah, that she was born 7/25/1828 in Blaenvaon (I'm guessing as the certificate actually says La Blaenavoa).  Sarah's parents were John Moses and Marion Price, who would have been married in Wales.  My Daniel Moses married Hattie ?, although there is some question as to whether her name was Margaret.   Based on a letter our family has, we suspect these two families are related.   Do you have any thoughts on how I might go about making that connection?  Any assistance appreciated.
