If her first husband had been declared dead that she married in good faith.
If the above is her marriage than with the cert you can get her parents names and her widow or birth surname than look on ScotlandsPeople for a marriage and I'd expect a divorce and her husbands (first) death.
I've never looked for records in Scotland so not sure what you can find.

A few years back within 10 years i did a family tree for a friend who's grandparents were married from Meath St, his father appears on the 1911 census born circa 1902 however his birth is not registered on the civil index though his siblings are, anyway i done his tree up and left it with him.
In the meantime he took the initative and went in search of his fathers baptism in the area of Meath St which he found in St Catherines ?not exactly sure this is the right church but speaking to him lately he told me he was very lucky to get it as there was a big fire in the church and some records were destroyed.
This may explain why your relatives cant find records of the baptisms.
As i say not sure of the name of church.

I had forgot about the church fire Dathai, think it took place about 6-7 year's ago.
I have also come across 'late' registrations one was 4 years after birth...I assume it may have been the case that they never bothered until a birth cert was needed for whatever reason.?

Hi
A couple of questions.
Have you found civil birth records for the children ? .Are you sure the marriage and baptisms took place in St Catherines Meath Street-ordering the marriage certificate would confirm if the marriage took place there. If the family lived in Usher Street another church to consider would be St Audeons High Street. The fire Dathai referred to occurred in Jan 2012 and I think their records were saved I have been in contact with them and have been able to obtain information from records for St Catherines and for records for the church of Ss Michael and John which are held By St Catherines.

Hi Folks ..I obtained the marriage cert today and it was indeed in St Audeons.
I will be posting the cert on to the lady whose grandparents it concerned.
by a strange coincidence the marriage took place on the 6th August 1920..exactly 94 years to the day!
