Who is Mrs Scott

I am trying to find the parents of Margaret MacGregor Scott. On her marriage certificate to Richard Allison she was 23 years old, living at Redlands Bank which I believe is near Kirkby Thore. The marriage was January 4th 1950 at the parish church in Bolton, Westmorland and her father was James Scott who was a farmer. I have found a marriage between a James Scott and a Davina S S MacGregor in 1916 in Newcastle Upon Tyne which sounded right because I believe Margaret was born in the north east but they seem to have had only two girls Vera L born 1926 and Ivy born 1928 in Castle Ward, Cumberland. Any help appreciated.
