Searching for John Edmonds, Edmans, Edmunds born around 1635-1650 in or around Old Swinford detail of birth, parents or spouse??
His children were all christened in Old Swinford John 1672, Mary 1678, Elizabeth1682, Henry1686, Abraham 1690 Esther 1694.

There is a burial in Oldswinford on 7 Sept 1672 for Sarah w of John Edmunds and on 1st June 1694 a burial of John Edmonds - possibly John's parents?

Unfortunately my records only start in 1647 so I cant find a baptism for John, and nor can I find a marriage record.

This looks like it could be one of his sons though:

In 1711 Barnabus Haynes was apprenticed to Henry Edmunds, tayler (sic) until 24
In 1715 Jane Perrins was apprenticed to Henry Edmunds as housewife to tayler (sic) until 21 or married.

I wonder if this fits into your family too?   In 1732 a Thomas Green was apprenticed to John Edmunds, nayler(sic), until 24.   There is then a later settlement examination record (1761) for "GREEN, Thomas, nailer, b at Oldswinford where his father is settled, husband of Joyce and father of John b 1760. Apprenticed at 8 years to John EDMONDS, nailer of Oldswinford and later of Halesowen, from whom he ran away."

Thankyou so much for this information - Naylor was definitely a profession in the Edmunds family male line. I will have a look and see if the info fits.
