If you google in Captain Nathaniel Hubbard there is a site "community trees family search" that gives you info about him, he seems to be a sea captain, John the younger being his brother and Rebecca and John being his parents

Thanks very much, Jolee. I have in fact come across that which gave me a lot of information. Thanks for posting though. I hope when/if the carpets are removed from the church the inscriptions will reveal some more information.

Your very welcome I was married in that church, there are a lot of very knowledgeable people that work there on a volunteer basis, the next time I go I will pick their brains.
