Just trying to find the birth for a Richard Hickson Burt supposedly in Leicestershire. Have been using FreeBmd but no luck

Leics vilages site has some online but a wealth of other info:

Leics blog has a lot of marriages but also other records:

I had a look at the last of the sites referred to by Diddy and the site owner proclaims her belief in the right to access free parish records. While we might all subscribe to that I suspect that there may be copyright issues involved in the way it's done nevertheless.

If the blog author has transcribed the records herself I would think that there are no copyright issues. (I only had a quick look at the blog and it appears that this is what she has done)
