FARRELL Patrick and Elizabeth, Rathmines Dublin 1900s
« on: Monday 31 March 14 21:53 BST (UK) »
My G GPs Patrick and Elizabeth Farrell were married in Our Lady of Refuge in May 1896 and lived in Benburb St, Arran Quay. By the 1911 census they had moved to Ross Road and then Bride St where they lived with their children, Catherine, Bridget, Sarah and James. (James being my GF). That's where it all goes cold. My GF used to talk of a brother Joseph and his mother dying on Christmas eve, neither of which I am able to find. I'm interested to find out what happened to the family.

Just for reference purposes i think the mothers name is Elizabeth Hester born 4th Feb 1870 in Longford to Michael Hester and Bridget Coleman and the witness at the marriage may be Catherine born 18 June in Ballymahon.

Link to 1901 census for Bridget & Kate HESTER

I wonder was Catherine actually a Mary Catherine or Catherine Mary and that there was in fact another child that had died

Also Joseph could have been born after 1911
