Perhaps Albert stayed in employ of Hoare family if Stourhead is close to Notton Lacock. Perhaps now married  lived "out".
Have found a birth of a Evelyn M.Harding Born June Qtr 1911 Chippenham 5a 64 - taken from Freeband. Can anyone tell me if she is Albert and Maggie's daughter please without me buying Cert.
1911 Census states married 3 yrs so if Evelyn is their daughter born June Qtr birth would be after Census.
Many thanks for help. Much easier going backwards than forward.
Syljun

There is a "Private House" containing 13 servants on the "Enumerator's List" where Albert is recorded only a few entries later, after Gardeners' Cottages and stables.

Rootschat rules preclude posting details of the 1911 Census.

There isn't a chauffeur listed amongst the 13 - which fits the chauffeur usually living apart from the household? (or am I watching too much Downton Abbey?)

The Harding surname seems to be quite popular in that area but cannot find a connection to anyone other that his sister Lucy b.1873 who married Frank Thomas Ford b.1873 Bradford Wilts.
living also in Chippenham at 30 Causeway, Chippenham - Frank was a Baker and Confectioner and owned a shop.

Albert's sisters Sarah & Florence (Florrie) were both servants in 1901 for William Thompson -Ironmonger & Shopkeeper at Brent Lodge Taunton Rd Somerset - Sarah was a cook and Florence a Housemaid

Yes Suz, all adds up. Stourhead is way down the A350 from Chippenham, nr Warminster, but your last info. is just a bit more West from Stourhead.

At the same time, there's strong connections with Chippenham. There are Hoare portraits in the entrance hall of Lacock Abbey (Fox Talbot was deceased by 1911). Lackham and Notton are just down the road (A350).

Evelyn appears to be the daughter of George Harding and Annie Maria Hiscocks.
