Sarah Mc curley killed on/at railway ?

Hi folks

just wondered if any of you kind hearted folk could do a dumbarton  newspaper look up .

Sarah Mc Curley (mcurley/curly)
died 16th jan 1897 Dumbarton age 12yrs  fractured skull for 3 days.

family member thinks she was killed on/at railway.
 death or accident (3 days prior) may be in local newspaper.

Her death certificate should tell you. If it does not say on the certificate itself, there may be a link to the Register of Corrected Entries which would.

copy of death cert from sp (on left hand side) says see reg of cor. ents. 
vol no. page no. and date.

When you see a reference to the register of corrected entries, you scroll down to the bottom of the page and there should be a link to it there. It is not very obvious unless you know to look for it.

found it on SP, it's a red box that appears at the top of the image.

sarah was struck by some part of a passenger train at dumbarton railway station. She survived 3 days with a fractured skull.
