Hello Sue, your a star.... thanks, do you ever get to that feeling that there is just too much month left at the end of the money... Had to crack open another bottle of wine, these things help, don`t you think.

Thanks Sue

Could anyone confirm who William Stephens wed, I have Mary Ann Keen, I have looked on Family Search and other sites but I am struggling with the confirmation, I was given his spouse sometime ago, she was supposed to have a DOB of 1810 and come from Chipping Camden
Thanks

Hi John,
I hadn't quite finished doing my posting due to an unexpected visitor. This is the rest of the data I found.

Source: Glos Archives (GA) PFC 317 IN 1/13 1, Entry No 245, St Edward, Stow-on-the-Wold, Marriages:-
26th December 1857, Isaac LONG, 26, Bachelor, Labourer of Westwell, f. John LONG, Labourer, m. Martha Maria STEPHENS, 26, Spinster, Stow, f. William STEPHENS, Shoemaker.
Both signed in the presence of William STEPHENS & Elizabeth ?

Source: Glos Archives (GA) PFC 317 IN 1/13 4, Entry No 394, St Edward, Stow-on-the-Wold, Marriages:-
7th September 1872, William POLLARD, 31, Bachelor, Labourer, Stow, f. William POLLARD, Labourer, m. Sarah Ann STEPHENS, 39, Spinster, Stow, f. William STEPHENS, Shoemaker.
Both signed in the presence of George STEPHENS & Mary Ann STEPHENS.

Source and church as above, Entry No 461:-
3rd August 1878, John STEPHENS, 21, Bachelor, Labourer, Stow, f. William (with a line drawn across the name?) with no surname or occupation recorded. Perhaps deceased? m. Sarah Maria WEBLEY, 18, Spinster, Stow, f. William WEBLEY, sorry I forgot occupation!
Both signed in the presence of J(?). WEBLEY & Sarah Anne WEBLEY.
Could be yours.

Merry Christmas

Victor  :)
