Hi,

I am not sure if you had found anything on the Pentland McGeown marriage, but I have this for a Pentland/McKeown marriage.

Edward Pentland, shoemaker, son of John, married Mary Ann McKeown at Portadown COI on 13 jan 1860.
Children were:
Mary Ann Pentland, b. 4 nov 1868, Lurgan, FHL Film 101175
William James Pentland, b. 5 may 1871, Belfast, married Annie Sweeney in 1895
William Pentland, remarried after Annie Died, in Govan, Glasgow, to Sarah Connor, from Edenderry on 2 jan 1907
Edward Pentland, b. 6 mar 1875, Portadown
Robert Pentland, b. 28 mar 1877,
Margaret Pentland, b. 31 mar 1883, Lurgan

William James had at least five children with Annie Sweeney,  I don't know if he had children with Sarah Connor.

  Hi Roxanna, thanks for your reply,
      It was James Edward Ferris who married a Pentland.
 The one I was not sure of turned out to be William J Ferris who married Minnie Watters.
