Hello

Looking for any information regarding wesleyan methodist in Kilmerston. In particular looking for a Joseph East who was apparently a superintendent around early to mid 1800's. He had a wife Sarah and a few children two being Thomas and Mary Ann. I have information about birth and death etc but trying to find out more about his life.

Hi,

1841 census has  Joseph (55) and Sarah (50) East in Kilmersdon with Henry (7) and Alfred (5) East.  Joseph shown as a carpenter.

Thanks for that and have that information. I have a story from one of the children that staes her father was a superintendent besides being a carpenter and am hoping that someone may have some information from the church that may have more information.
