Martindale family

My ancestor was a ladies maid to (presumably) Mrs Mary Martindale, wife of Warine Ben Hay Martindale. The address in the 1901 census is Haistwell (House?), Sunningdale, Berks. Does anyone have any idea where this property was or if it still stands?

The house (whatever it's called! ) is 2 houses away from Scotswood, where Agatha Christie lived in the 1920's.

Maybe that's a clue?

Scotswood was/is on Devenish Road.

You have the House name right.

Warine Martindale is the son of Colonel Ben Hay Martindale. He married Mary Agnes Young, daughter of Sir Charles Lawrence Young, 7th Bt. and Mary Florence Toulmin, on 18 March 1891.1
He lived at Haistwell House, Sunningdale, Berkshire, England.
