Denipam, I guess you have the given names of the 4 men by the name of GUY who were born in Deniliquin and took part in WW1.

If so, why not post them on here, or in a special thread on the WW1 board. You never know, someone may come across it when searching a name and just happen to have a matching photo and be able to identify it.

Dee    :)

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion. As this photo is part of a genealogy club project I am not sure what information we actually have. I was asked about restoration of photos after showing the group one of my own that was transformed on here.
I am very grateful of the help people give on this wonderful forum

Denipam

In case it may help, here are the four names I found on the National Archives 0f Australia website http://www.naa.gov.au/  .....

Eneden Arthur George GUY, born about 1894/1895 in Deniliquin, father George GUY?
Samuel Francis GUY, born abt 1887 Deniliquin, father Eneden GUY?
James GUY, born abt 1892 Deniliquin, father Henry GUY?
William Endner GUY, born abt 1883 Deniliquin, father Endner GUY?

Obviously, if he was a cadet around 1912-1914, it wouldn't be either the second or fourth one, and possibly, as you say, none of them.

One of the other photos is of Sam Guy.
Thanks for your links Dee. Our genealogy group are very familiar with that website.

Hi,
I was hoping someone would be able to clean up this photo please. His surname is Guy but not sure of his first name.
My local genealogy club are creating a book of WW1 soldiers and would like to include the photo.
Thanks
Denipam
