Marriage of John Davies & Rachel Jones - Llandyssul?

Please can someone help me?  I am struggling to find the marriage of John Davies & Rachel Jones or any record of them before 1881. Probably in Llandyssul as census records state they were both born there. They were married c 1880.

John Davies was born c1855 in Llandysul, Cardiganshire, Wales.
Rachel Jones was born c1853 in Llandysul, Cardiganshire, Wales

In 1881, they were  married & living in New Rd Waunarlwydd, Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales: No children. John was employed as a Collier and stayed in the area.
He lived in Cadle, Penderry, Glamorgan, Wales in 1911.

John Davies and Rachel Jones had the following children:
David Davies was born on 22 Apr 1883 in Waunarlwydd. Mary Davies was born in 1886 in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales.

I would really appreciate some help at the Llandyssul end. There were so many
John Davies and Rachel Jones  in the area.... I can't find them

According to FreeBMD there's a marriage between a John Davies and Rachel Jones in Lampeter reg district in the Mar quarter of 1880.

Can't find a parish record to match though sorry.

Is it Lampeter district though or is Llandyssul in Newcastle Emlyn district?
I have ordered 3 wrong certs so far!

Have you seen the DecQ 1878 one in Newcastle Emlyn district? Again no matching parish record that I can find. Don't know the area sorry but Lampeter and Llandysul appear close.

What about the one in Swansea in DecQ 1875 as the children were born there...

I may have idejtified the families of Rachel and John by virtue of an address "match" as follows:-

There is an 1853 baptism for Rachel Jones to James and Sarah at Rhyd Coedfoel.
In the 1861 census this family is at "Rhyd" ref. RG09  4184  43  2

By 1871 the family has moved and Rachel is not with them (RG10  5552  22  12)

Meanwhile at "Rhyd in 1871 are William and Eleanor Davies with son John given as born 1857.

To complete the circle and verify the address in 1881 William and Eleanor,though obviously not John are at Rhyd Coedfoel (RG11 5434  54  2)

Perhaps the coincidence was too good to be true.I don't speak Welsh but does this article announce the death of a Rachel Jones of Rhyd,Newcastle Emlyn in 1879?But does it say she was eighteen,ruling her out anyway.?

Added:There may be a separate "Rhyd" in Newcastle Emlyn as opposed to Newcastle Emlyn registration district(Llandyssul),so maybe the original conclusion stands?

The marriage of the parents of the Rachel Jones I identified looks possibly to be between James Jones and Sarah Mathias in 1850.One of the witnesses is John Evans of Pontrhedynen and Rachel is a sevant in his household in 1871( ref 5547  105  2)
Whether this is the correct Rachel Jones and family you are seeking is another matter.
