« on: Tuesday 24 June 14 20:51 BST (UK) »
Hi

William married  Martha Beaman in 1923  Dec quarter and they had 3 children as I can find

Can anyone help  with my query . Sorry  but that's all the information I have to  date.

Do you have his marriage certificate as that will give his father's name and enable you to find the right family in the censuses. There are at least 6 William Lewis's born Birmingham between 1894 and 1896 so you really need the certificate.

Hi Both
Thank you for looking and getting back to me. I think I will have to see if my friend can find any old certificates to help me further their research. If not then  the marriage certificate will  be able to point me in the right direction as you say

Thank you again

1930 Electoral Rolls have a William & Martha Lewis living in Ryland Street with a Mary Ann Lewis.
Could this be them ?
1925-27 he's living 8C 1H Ryland St. Martha must have been under 30 or she would appear also.

I make it 4 from 1919-23.

Hi Jim you could be right with that couple but where would Cyril and the other 2 children be. I will look in to it and get there marriage certificate to find out fathers names and that should put me over the wall
