What information does the marriage give for Johns father. There is a christening on 11 January 1824 giving parents William & Ann fathers occupation Labourer

The 1861 census gave John's age as 36 - so born 1824/5
The 1851 census gave John's age as 27 - so born 1823/4
The 1841 census gave 15 and living with presumed parents William & Ann.
Squance, Lillicrap, Dankester, Surtees, Yates

George 9.7.1826 s of William and Ann Howard.

1841 census Lapford
William Howard 40 ag lab y
Ann 60 y
John 15 y

The 1851 gives the Family at Calves Bridge Lapford
William Howard 56 ag lab Lapford
Ann 70 Lapford
and John and Charlotte same cottage.
