Hi Steve
My George was christened at Rowley Regis, Staffs, just a mile or so from Cradley, 25.3.1838. His siblings seem to have been Jane,Sarah Ann,Hannah and john. His mother was Sarah (Parkes) and dad was John Gadd. The family traces back on Familysearch about four generations mainly at Halesowen church. George married (Rose)  Hannah Southall in birkenhead on May m3rd 1859. Her dad Thomas was a fruit dealer like both George and his dad.She came from Lye Waste.
Yes I am on GenesReunited and my tree is there. Feel free to look.

Hello,

Sorry to break in but to me, George Gadd ( & Co) was a steel re-rolling company in Pear Tree Lane Tipton? I worked in the weighbridge during school holidays 1958-61.

Just to recall what they did and the conditions they worked under, never mind 6 pints of M&B Mild at lunchtime... really takes me back
