Hi David:  I think the main point is that Joseph, born 1766 is the son of John and Sarah, rather than John and Mary.  And yes there is a burial for a Joseph is 1769, who may be the same person.

Hopefully I can attach the file of my results., which I can't as it is a .doc file. But I think I've converted it to .rtf.  Let me know!!! :)
