I am looking for baptism of a Benjamin Churchill born between 1806 and 1811 as calculated from age in 1841 census. He was living in Bladon and born in Oxfordshire. I have now had it confirmed he died in 1843 and his age at death suggests a birth in 1806. I have come across a Benjamin baptised in Deddington to Joseph and Esther in 1806. Although this is about 12 miles from where my Benjamin lived, I feel it is too far away. Do you have any more information about the Deddington Benjamin, so I can rule him out or keep him on my list of possibles. My Benjamin married Jane Palmer (born Benson 1803) in Bladon and had four children, one died when a few months old. Two of the children had Claydon as a middle name.

I have posted already on the below thread.

I have a Benjamin Churchill born in Deddington 1806 to Joseph and Esther Churchill.  I have a christening record for 8 March 1806. Lived in Tackley, Oxfordshire and died in Hesington Oxfordshire. I don't have any info on his marriage.

With the help of other Rootschatters, I had matched the Benjamin who lived in Tackley with one baptised in Woodstock in Nov 1801. In the 1851 census this Benjamin says he was born in Woodstock.

In St Marys Church, Woodstock - Benjamin John Churchill - son of Benjamin and Matilda, baptised 30 November 1801, received into the church 1 Jan 1802.

This Benjamin was buried at St Nicholas Church, Tackley on 6 Nov 1874 aged 72. Yhe record says:  of Stratford upon Avon. This matches with a death registration of Benjamin John Churchill age 72 in Stratford upon Avon district Q4 1874 vol 6d p 341
