Completed: William Fitzpatrick, Royal Irish Constabulary
« on: Tuesday 26 August 14 21:52 BST (UK) »
Hello

I was wondering if someone had a copy of The Royal Irish Constabulary: A Complete Alphabetical List of Officers and Men, 1816-1922

My ancestor William Fitzpatrick was born in 1847 in County Laios to Timothy Fitzpatrick, a farmer.

He married in 1878 in Cork with Bridget McCarthy and he was a member of the Royal Irish Constabulary

In the 1901 census, he was recorded living in Fethard, Tipperary with his family and he is listed as having an RIC pension

any information on him would be appreciated

One option, if you want a copy of his service record, is to order it from the police museum in Belfast. (They have a copy of all RIC service records). See:
