The first one - 'Creeler Carpets.' A creeler attended the creel or bobbin frame of a spinning machine.

I think so, it is quite clear for several on the following page.

So there are.  :) As well as several other carpet related occupations.
(M could also stand for Manufacturer I suppose.  :-\)

Hi Barryd, Ruskie, Alexander & Geoff-E,

Firstly my apologies for the lack of response. I have been rather busy with one or two other things for the last few days. My thanks for your replies, very much appreciated indeed.

Your suggestions & insights as to what the occupations may or may not be are very much appreciated indeed. I will need to digest what has been said & take another look at the census returns in question with the suggestions & insights in mind.
