I have just joined RootsChat and I am unsure how to use it as yet - I found this conversation about Margaret Boyd Brittain, who is in my family, so I have quite a bit of information about her. Her younger brother Archie was my paternal grandfather (he didn't die in the war). He married Agnes McDonald Frame in 1921, and they had a son, my dad, Archie. Agnes died in 1925 when my dad was 4, and my dad lived for the next 6 years with his aunt Margaret and Uncle Hugh (Gallacher). What does that make me - Margaret Boyd was dad's aunt, so she was my great aunt. Not sure to whom I am writing, but surely family! Regards, Julie Brittain
