Joseph Bullock Needham - Birth 1839, Stamford/Melton Mowbray - Rutland

"The town of Stamford is not in Rutland but is over the border in the historic county of Lincolnshire"  "Melton Mowbray is a town in the Melton borough of Leicestershire, England". (That is a bit confusing)

So you could check the IGI births for him in both places. Have you posted on the Leicestershire board in case someone has a disk for Stamford or Melton Mowbray births.

Clara Newry Needham family come from Rev R William Needham and his wife Martha Needham who came from Tamerton Foliot, Devonport to Adelaide, Mt Gambier  The Grandfather came from Ireland and is related to the Earl of Kilmorney whch is why the name Newry pops up in the family name
so no  relation as far as I can see
