Where was John HENDERSON in 1911?
« on: Friday 11 April 14 06:33 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help me find John HENDERSON in 1911? He was born 14 April 1891 Dundee, father John, mother Jane nee Lamont. In 1901 he was living with his family at 91 Arbroath Row Dundee but he is not with them in the 1911 census.

I thought at first he had joined up with the 14th Bn Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders but a newspaper article about his injury in 1918, says he "joined the colours in August 1915". It also says: "Previous to enlistment he was employed as a steam fitter with Messrs A.L. Peacock & Co. plumbers, Tay St Dundee."

Any info gratefully received :-)
