Death-Daniel Mulvihill
« on: Thursday 18 September 14 15:16 BST (UK) »
Hi
I'm trying to confirm a death record for a Daniel Mulvihill who married Margaret O'Sullivan in the 1920s in the Kanturk area. I've been told the family lived in Tourrard, Freemount, Charleville and wish to find the cemetery.
Any help gratefully received.
Thanks
Phil

The civil registration index is online (free) and once you find an entry you'll have the information needed to order the death certificate although it will not give place of burial.

If you need to check to see the registration district for a townland you can use this site (reg. dist. usually same as Poor Law Union).

Hi Phil

Not really a reply to your post, but my Mulvihills are such a mystery I decided to ask!

Did your family go to England or have connections to County Clare or Antrim or to a Stickley or Ingram family by any chance?

I have a really mysterious Margaret Stickley or Ingram formerly Mulvihill or Mulville or Mulvey born Clare / Antrim /  Ireland.

She is a gg grandmother who died in  Lancashire England.

I hope you move forward with your family.

Best wishes
