Hello pocahauntas
Yes he did die in Liverpool I have his death certificate and the informant was James Dougherty
who was Married to Mary Ann's sister Helen.
John and Helen lived in Liverpool and James was a coal Merchant.
Just to clarify I do have a picture of the headstone John is mentioned on what I'm really wanting to know is there a headstone  for Joan as she is not mentioned.
Kind regards
M

Hi i have been trying to help Norman Dunn find his relation Alexander Dunn,we now know he is in Section 8 Lair 49.I have now visited the cemetery three times and had no joy. Does anyone know where section 8 is ,the new ground has rows from A-E so i assume section 8 must be in the old ground can anyone confirm this Please. Many thanks in advance.

The numbers are on the walls in the Old Kirkpatrick Cemetery if you still cannot find it you can contact West Dunbartonshire council at Roseberry Place in Clydebank ,or the men that work in the Graveyard are very helpful.Good Luck.

Thanks for that ,i never for one minute thought of looking at the walls,i saw the markers in the new ground but we could not see anything in the old ground ,oh well back again for the fourth time .On my three visits have never seen a worker in there but might be 4th time lucky.Marie from the West Dumbarton gave me the plot number but uptil now we could not find it as i dont think there is a headstone.                      Thanks for your help.
