Gould's from Bidford on Avon

Hello to all,
I am looking at finding any history on my great grandparents or anything on my family history.  My grandmother came from Bidford on Avon after World War II after she married my grandfather who was in the US Army.  I know my Great Grandfather owned a pub and a butchers shop (I think)    in Bidford.  Any history or any help on finding out more information on my family history would be wonderful.  Thanks for any help in advance!!!

Free BMDs has a marriage for a Joseph Plummer 1849 March qtr. Alcester
unfortunately there are two Mary's listed - Mary Anne Bee and Mary Freeman.

There are still Plummers and Goulds living in Cleeve Prior that are conncted with these Bidford families. It is just the other side of the River Avon

Hi,
I might be a few years too late, but the above link might be of interest to you about John Gould's Butchers Shop in High Street, Bidford on Avon. Pages 16 & 17 have photos. It was taken over by George Winnett and then from whom my grandfather Charles Hunt bought it in 1931. He and then my dad Rowland Hunt ran the butchers shop until it closed in 1970. Hoping this is still of interest to you.
