I have done some work on this family (the Cuthbertsons, that is). Robina was the wife of a James Cuthbertson, born in England, and the family appears in the records variously as Cuthbertson, Culbertson and Culbert. Robina King was born and baptised as Jacobina b. 18 July 1790 bap. 25 July 1790 and died 30 July 1871 in Riccarton. Robina was a "householder" in 1851. Robina's daughter Elizabeth b. 1823 (Alexander's younger sister) is an ancestor of the husband of a distant cousin of mine.

Thank you for the info.  It does seem to be a name that will have variations in records.

I don't have a copy yet of Elizabeth's death certificate to confirm the 1878 date.
