This was the only census I could see with parents Hugh & Mary
1901 Census 4,Well Street Calton Glasgow
Hugh Moran born 1870 England age 31 occupation Tobacco pipe maker
Mary Moran born 1876 Glasgow
Anthony Moran born 1895 England 6

Hellen Moran born 1897 Glasgow age4
Hugh Moran born 1898 Mid -Edin age3
James Moran born 1899 Glasgow age 2

Think the best thing would be to try and get birth certificate on Scotlands People  and that should give you fathers occupation also when they were married

He has no known grave and so is commemorated by name on the Loos Memorial.
