JOHN KNIGHT of YARCOMBE
« on: Sunday 11 May 14 17:11 BST (UK) »
I have a John Knight (born about 1782 in Yarcombe and died 1855 in Chard, Somerset) on my family tree. From the baptism records I have of his children, I know that his wife's name was Elizabeth but do not know her maiden name. I also have no idea when John and Elizabeth were married, though have found the following records which may be possibilities:

Name:      John Knight
Gender:      Male
Marriage Date:      11 Sep 1805
Marriage Place:      Ashwater, Devon, England
Spouse:      Elizabeth Northcott
FHL Film Number:      916805

Name:      John Knight
Gender:      Male
Marriage Date:      1811
Marriage Place:      Burlescombe, Devon, England
Spouse:      Elizabeth Henson
FHL Film Number:      6340838
Reference ID:      2:3C0J476

I have the following as their children:

Ann 1809-1894 (possible)
John 1811-1889
Joel 1821-1879 (quite a gap between John and Joel)
Joan 1823-1906
Lydia 1826-1907
Robert 1828-1870

Can anybody please help me find the correct marriage record of John and Elizabeth? Many thanks.

There are several trees on Ancestry with John Knight they have his wife down as Hannah Poole married 26 March 1801 ...Maybe she had a middle name Elizabeth ? ..I know you cant rely on other trees but there is a death for Hannah Knight 1839 Registration District Chard Somerset ?
