Jemima Cook
« on: Wednesday 25 June 14 19:14 BST (UK) »
Jemima married William Dann in 1840. Both from Plymouth. Jemima according to census was born 1813-15. There's a familysearch record showing a baptism of a Jemima 1813 Devon ref 167/8. Trying to establish her parents without buying marriage cert if possible. Any help welcome.

Thanks

John

Possible baptism in 1813 in Plymouth with parents Richard and Grace. Could that be her?

Thanks for info. Without buying the marriage cert with fathers name on this may or may not be her.

Thanks

John

Hi, nothing worse than never letting others know the outcome. I ordered the marriage certificate and Jemima's father was Richard- a cordwainer. Sorry for delay in responding but just had a full hip replacement and didn't feel like doing anything until now. Thanks

John

Sounds promising. Hope all goes well with the hip recovery.
