here is  here  marriage
Pauline Barnsley  born at sea  married Henry Jordan  in 1873 ref no 3183

Thomas Scott Barnsley has 2 records and may well be a descendaant of your lot.

Must be one one my lot!

The original people in this part of my tree are John Gates and Ann Scott - great when they keep using the surnames as middle names (quite Scottish)

Off to see what I can find at NAA (I know now what that stands for!!)
But what does "NOK" stand for?

Interesting details at NAA - Thomas Scott Barnley record consists of an empty envelope - wonder what it did contain originally?

could you find his father - K Barnsley - must be born about 1870? - if he was born 1896
