There is this one that covers a lot of cemeteries and graves with photos all over the world, including a lot in Australia. Your man is not listed but you might find it useful in searching for other Aussies....

Hello
I had it confirmed he is buried at Melbourne Cemetery being

CHURCH OF ENGLAND, COMPARTMENT HH, GRAVE 169B

NAME                                                   AGE                       DATE OF SERVICE

WOOD, William F                              N/L                         21/02/1905.

I also have his death certificate which says Melbourne Cemetery.

I am surprised there isnt any head stone photos for the cemetery
Regards
Kate

I hope you have not misunderstood me.

No, there  is not an online source for photos of M I's at Melbourne General Cemetery.

I did not say he was not buried at Melbourne General Cemetery.

I said there is no photo available of a Monumental Inscription for the man (=headstone) on the resource which I hold, being a listing of Monumental Inscription to  the end of the 1980's.

Hello Kate

I am not sure if you are still interested but I live in Melbourne and would be happy to have a look at the cemetery and take a photo of the headstone if you like?

Sam

There is not a headstone to take a photo of.

As has been already stated, the man is buried at MGC , but without headstone.

Perhaps you mean you will take a photo of the site of the burial which may have no identifying signage at all.

The information regarding location has come form the Cemetery's data base or Register.
