Greenock Cemetery Look-up

Hi,
I am from Australia and planning a trip over to Greenock to find where my fathers roots are from. I know some people have records of the Greenock Cemetery headstones from the www.renfrewshirefhs.co.uk discs, and was wondering if you wouldn't mind searching for Colin McLeod, born 6th November 1855, and Jane McLeod died 1897/1898. Or the surname Paterson, in reference to a William? Sorry for the little information I have, but I would really appreciate your help.

Morgan,  you might try the online records of the Greenock Telegraph at the Watt Library, Greenock.

Here is Jane Paterson, on the 1881 census. with widowed mother and brother.

9 Nelson Street, West Greenock,

Jane Paterson, Head, Shipmasters Widow, age 52 years, F. born Greenock,
William Paterson, Son, Clerk ( Commission ) U. age 27 years, M. born Greenock,
Jane Paterson, Daur, Domestic, U. age 24 years, F. born Greenock.

William Paterson, married Jane McLean, 5/March/1852. West or Old Parish Greenock.

Children,
William Paterson, born 20/Sep/1853. Greenock,
Jane Paterson, born 22/Sep/1856. Greenock,
Hector Paterson, born 6/May/1858. Greenock.

Quite a interesting Family.
