Kilpartrick's Paisley WW2
« on: Saturday 29 March 14 20:23 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

I'm looking for any help.  My Grandfather Robert Buchanan Born 1924 in Paisley he worked as an electrical engineer for Kilpatrick's but during the war he was seconded for war work.  Has anyone any idea how I would go about find out what he did.  I have no idea i don't have any photos of him in uniform.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Gayle

Hi Gayle

Is your Grandmother still alive? Has anyone in the family considered applying for his WW2 service records?

My Grandmother is still alive but we don't know anything.  all the forms request information that I don't have.
