What happened to Gt Uncle ?
« on: Monday 07 July 14 21:35 BST (UK) »
Hi, my great great uncle was born Benjamin Wileman in 1836 in the UK, i have him on all of the census records including 1901 when he is 66 years old, then there is a record for him on the 22nd June 1901 going to Halifax Canada from Liverpool on a ship called the Corean.

I am not able to find any other info on Benjamin after his departure from Liverpool to Canada, i would be extremley grateful for any help.

Best regards

Jason

What were the parents names ?

Perhaps a long shot but there was a  Benjamin Wileman listed New York, Census of Inmates in Almshouses and Poorhouses. 1910.  Benjamin born 1838 and aged 72 years. Admitted 31 August 1910. Father John (England) Mother Matilda Matheus (England)

Hi, Benjamin's father was Thomas Wileman and mother Ann, unless it wasn't my Benjamin that sailed in 1901 but i'm sure the only Benjamin born 1836 was my gt uncle & i can't find a death for him in UK.

Would depend where he died ? Records vary. Have you tried the family search site ?
