Does anyone have access to Coleorton parish registers from about 1690-1710?

Thanks for this.   However, there was no sign of the Pemberton family!   I am looking for Thomas Pemberton and his wife Elizabeth of Coleorton.   They were possibly a little early for burials on this index.

Thanks again,  marp

Hi Marp

What are you looking for ? I have access to a transcription database for that era, but I suggest you double check any entries with the original source, but I can hopefully give you a starting point.
Give me some more info - I'll have a look for you.
Cheers
Jan Ann

Hi Jan Ann,

sorry for late response I have been away on holiday,

I have very little information on the Pemberton family in Coleorton.  My information (such as it is) on the Pemberton family (baptismal dates) is as follows:

Thomas Pemberton 19 Aug 1794
Elizabeth 18 Oct 1696
Robert 31 Mar 1700 but no parents given
Sarah on 1 Mar 1701
Ann 14 Oct 1705
Luke 4 April 1708
Hannah 19 Aug 1711 - buried 17 Jun 1713
Hannah 8 Jun 1714 - buried 16 Feb 1717
John 8 Jun 1714 - buried 31 Dec 1715

My direct ancestor is Luke Pemberton (baptised 4 April 1708) in Coleorton.   Later he moved to Ault Hucknall in Derbyshire and I have more information on him.  His family seemed to move between Ault Hucknall and Coleorton as they were subject to various removal orders.  I am trying to find his parents.

I was given information to believe that the Luke Pemberton's parents may be a Thomas Pemberton and Elizabeth (but not verified).  However as you can see that does not make a lot of sense with the dates above for Thomas and Elizabeth.

Any information on the family would be marvellous.

Thanks, marp

Hi Marp
I can confirm Luke was baptized at Coleorton 4th April 1708, son of Thomas and Elizabeth.

There are 198 baptisms, burials, marriages for Pembertons in Coleorton and surrounding villages - Whitwick, Osgathorpe, Breedon, Ashby de la Zouch. There's no marriage for Thomas & Elizabeth at Coleorton.

Might be better to PM me with your e-mail address then I can send you a couple of spreadsheets, rather than typing them all out.
Cheers
Jan Ann
