Rootsireland.ie a pay per view site (I have free searches for the index only)
Has the following Cummins baptisms with Mother Shelley - however I couldn't match the personal names of Kieran or Elizabeth. somebody else may be able to do better.

Thank you Annclare. I have john born 1804-1805. ? Possible late baptism although I know the babies had to be baptised soon after they were born? My family history forward from Ireland has him in politics and farming. He was in prison for bearing arms and sentenced in Queens to 7 years in the colonies. I have nothing of the prison register which may have indicated who his kin were. Thank you for your look up. Hopefully someone will come across something. X Marli

The John baptised Laois 1811 is unlikely to have been born c. 1805. Baptisms usually took place within days of birth. if John was sent to the colonies do you have a date? He might show in the transportation database in the National Archives that is if you haven't already checked that.

Annclare. He arrived in Australia on Prince Regent Ship 1824. I would love to know the Irish transportation end or the prison records as they might shed some light on the n.o.k This I have been unable to do from this end. He was a shepherd in Laois before he was incarcerated. Thank you for persisting. :)

1824 is very early - The main transportation records start from the early 1830's - however next time I'm in the National archives I'll have a look  to see if I can find anything.
