I had a look on the SFHG site at baptisms at St Peters and as unfortunate luck would have it the period 1845 is missing from their transcripts, I did check 1846 onwards but no Harry James Roberts, only one Roberts in fact, Charles s/o Charles & Emma.

1875 is the year mentioned, I've checked the SFHG for St Peters and drawn a blank I'm afraid. I don't think there are any Roman Catholic records for that part of Brighton online, his mother's name sound Irish so maybe he didn't get a protestant baptism.

Have you tried under his mother's name in case he was born before they married?
