Maria was my 2 x great grandmother's sister.

She last appeared in service to Mary Ann Merrick of St. Owen's St, Hereford in the 1871 Census, aged 14 years.

I have failed to find any suitable record for her after this date & wondered if anyone could throw some light on her subsequent whereabouts.

She was the daughter of Joseph Wood & Mary Ann Preece who, in the 1861 Census resided at Red Rail, Hentland.

Have you already discounted the 1875 marriage for Anna Maria Wood

I believe that this marriage was a Hannah Maria Wood (b Ross 1857)

There is no mention of "Hannah" in Marias's name on any record
