Can anyone identify these chapels?
« on: Tuesday 21 July 09 14:05 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find out what these chapels are / were called.

The first is in Pentre Gwynfryn and the 2nd is in Penrhyndeudreath, from googling, I have found that it is on School Street.

Can anyone help? Thanks

Can't help with the pics Lynn but you might want to add a link into the wiki (some old pics of a Merionethshire town) at http://www.flickr.com/photos/24497282@N08/sets/72157604054563132/

All the pics are subject to full copyright but they might make interesting viewing for someone.

I have found another picture of the second chapel:

I thought that if you were looking for the original names of the chapels there may be some mention of them on Genuki.  ;)

I'm sure you've already seen this, but might this be the same chapel but with photo taken from the front? Just wondering if your picture might have been taken from the back as there are two doors?  :-\

(front door looks to be painted the same green  :-\ ... or perhaps I am just trying to make it fit :))

Thanks Ruskie. I had already seen both pics in my attempts to find out the names of the chapel. The one in Penrhydeudreath, was where I got the street name from.

The one in Pentre Gwynfryn is of a different chapel, as the person who took the picture I want to identify also took one of that chapel.

I am really hoping that there might be someone with local knowledge who might recognise the chapels. :)
