My relatives
« on: Wednesday 06 August 14 18:55 BST (UK) »
Am looking for any descendants of the Tyler's of Upminster - George and Mary Ann who lived in Post Office cottages Corbetts Tey rd early 1900's.
They were my grandparents and I am putting together a family tree.
Particularly interested in any old photos

Descendents of your grandparents will be your aunts and uncles and cousins. Do you not already know who they are? Did your parent(s) have siblings?
If you dont know the answer and the relevant parent is now decesed so you cant ask, then you should be able to find your parent's birth on freebmd and then look for other children with the same surname and mothers maiden name.
If the parent didnt have any siblings then there will be no other descendents from that set of grandparents other than you and any siblings you have!

Have you tried looking in the 1911 census, this will give you other members of the family? You can then trace them through electoral registers, marriages etc. Remember we are not allowed to mention living people on here.

Only that one gives the family of great grandad, showing grandads siblings, so a lot more info .

Though that one is seeking descendents of these people not just from grandad Victor Harold.

We know the family members etc but don't have any idea where they might be living :-(
Thought someone might read this thread and be able to help with old photos :-)

Or ancestry? I have been emailed loads of Victorian photos from all round the world via that site. Have also found my mother in law's long lost cousins through them.
The trees have lots of mistakes, so be careful, but the photos are great!
