Not sure if this helps but
Enoch Wymer was my Great Great Grandfather
One of his sons was Arthur Enoch Wymer and he served in WWI with his brother George.
Arthur had 8 children I think. One of them being my Grandmother Dorothy Elizabeth Wymer.

Hi. Arthur Enoch Wymer was my grandfather and Dorothy is my aunt. My mother is Elsie. I would love some more info about this branch of the Wymer family.

Hi Wensr and Gambit489, and welcome to RootsChat. ;D

I'm sure Magicnanny will respond to you soon, but in the meantime I can contribute the 1882 passenger list of the Famenoth to the discussion and a few other tidbits you might find helpful.

The Famenoth arrived at Auckland in January 1883.

Another similar article:

And those of you researching the WYMER family might be interested in this 2006 post on Genforum:
http://genforum.genealogy.com/wymer/messages/247.html

And there was a diary published, presumably by a passenger:
Famenoth 26.9.1882-15.1.1883. Diary by: Turley, M. M.Whiritoa [N.Z.] :F.O. & M.M. Turley, [1989?]

And the Auckland War Memorial Museum hold papers relating to the BAYES and WYMER families including a shipboard diary written by Joseph BAYES, died 1925.

On the BDM site, Miss Alice Wymer's date of birth is listed as 4 December 1904.  Can't seem to find parents.

Cheers
KHP :)

Hi,
Alice Wymer is my great grandmother - if I can help or you have any further information relating to the Wymer family tree, I'd love to know :)
Cheers J.

Hi all I was on here a few years back but had an old email address attached.

My grandmother is June Hinkes her mother is Alice Wymer and her parents are Enoch and Sarah. Enochs. Alice looked after her father until he passed away. Enochs sister Louisa was looked after by my nana till she passed away. My mum called her Aunt Louisa. I have her English birth certificate and Enochs Baptist certificate from England.

Hi,
My granddad is Percy Wymer (Enoch's grandson, Alice's son and June's brother). Percy was born in Mamaku in 1921.
