Where is John Lloyd on the 1881 census?
« on: Sunday 24 August 14 20:46 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

I am just searching for him on the 1881 census
John Lloyd was born 1864...
Birth place:well er thats more counfusing...

The 1901 gives birth place as NK=Not Known, Shropshire...
1911 gives birth places as  Gillsfield,Montgomeryshire... possible Guilsfield?
the 1891 census gives birth place as NK, Radnorshire

 ??? ??? ??? :-\

I think he married Elizabeth Davies is 1889 in Leintwardine, herefordshire
the marriage certificate names father as Thomas Lloyd...

But please do not rely on this at all, as names on this side of the family are sketchy and often turn out to be middle names or nicknames etc...

anyways if he doesnt know where he was born...how would he know his fathers name?

Anyone willing to take a shot would be a great help
thanks

ahh thank you!
I was thinking perhaps he is actually welsh as it seems they have all welsh surnames etc...but then again they are quite close to the border

Here is a photograph of John Lloyd and Family :)
